It isn’t easy to put Violent in a genre and its also not wanted by the members of the band.

Since 2006 violent call the music as “Ambilent Pop music”, a mix of ambient, electro, new age and world with a significant percussion line.
Frequently the musicians are asked for their band name, but your wrong if you think “Violent” is violent.
