I thought I'd post a piece in a style not normally encountered on Bonxo. When is the last time you heard a song with Lute and Viola Da Gamba accompaniment? This is a live recording I made at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival last year, featuring the Green Show musicians performing a song written several hundred years ago by John Dowland. The song features Nicolas Tennant, baritone voice, David Rogers, renaissance lute, Patricia O'Scannell, viola da gamba, and Robert Dubow on violin. Song from this performance were published on a limited-release CD sold only at the festival, so I cannot offer the CD on Bonxo. However, if there is interest, I will post more of these songs here.
