About Us

Bonxo first launched in November of 2005 hoping to provide an alternative to corporate driven commercial music. Our goal is to provide "independent" artists a means to distribute there music both digitally and physically. By doing this we hope to build a community of music lovers which are open minded and willing to discover music outside the realms of commercialism and most importantly support independent musicians.

Our site is ad free and we intend to remain that way. It is always a shock to us when we see so called "independent" music communities with ads splashed all over the screen, google ads, flash ads, banners glittering, etc. It seems as though many people have become accustomed to this and don't give it a second thought, but we will remain ad free because we believe an independent music site should be just that, independent!

Bonxo 2.0 launched around January of 2008 with a whole new site architecture. Our new mission is to provide artists a means to sell their albums directly through Bonxo. We store the cd's we ship the cd's and we pay the artists directly, eventually we will offer digital album sales, no singles, just complete albums. Above all, Bonxo is a community and we intend to build this community by providing music lovers with truly unique and original music provided by our artists.

So far this has been the best work a person could imagine, everyday we are surrounded by new music and artists, thanks to all that create and those that love new creations.� We look forward and strive to constantly serve you better.
